MacMillan Distribution Books Chalcroft

Distribution and warehousing specialist Chalcroft has completed the second phase of a project for Macmillan Distribution.

The 25-week, £1m project saw Chalcroft overhaul existing warehouses at Macmillan’s Swansea site, including steel-strengthening works, roof over-cladding and the replacement of vertical cladding with composite panels.

This second project followed the construction of a new 140,000ft² warehouse and office facility for Macmillan at the same site.

“Through working in partnership with our Clients, we can ensure that refurbishment schemes and new-build projects, can go ahead with little or no disruption to the Client’s business.”

Macmillan Distribution (MDL) provides a distribution service for the Macmillan Publishing Group, as well as distribution services to more than 40 third-party publishers.
